From May 6 to May 9, 2019 was held the most important offshore conference (Offshore Technology Conference – OTC) at the NRG Park in Houston, Texas.
This 2019 OTC celebrates 50 years and many things have changed since 1969 according to Wafik Beydoun, chairman of the OTC board of directors.

May 6 – Summary of the Rice Alliance
Around 50 companies present new tech in the energy industry, in search of financing. The interesting thing about this activity is the field tests carried out during the presentation rounds.
May 6 – OTC Spotlight on New Technology® Awards Program
The awards allow us to see the latest in offshore technology, mainly focused on the maintenance reduction, staff safety and environmental focus.
Companies such as AFGLOBAL, Baker Hughes, Dril-Quip Inc., FutureOn, NOV, Oceaneering International, Saipem, Schlumberger, OneSubsea, SIEMENS, Stress Engineering Services, Inc., TechnipFMC, Weatherford all excelled in this award.
